This is a fun, fresh addition to your cocktails. You can use different types of fruits, herbs, and spices for your recipe. Some fruits take longer to infuse, so be sure to taste it each day until it tastes to your liking. Different recipes can take between 2 - 5 days to infuse properly. I have found that the basil tastes best after only two days of infusing.

2 cups strawberries, stems removed and sliced
1 cup basil leaves
750 ml. vodka

In a large jar or sealable glass pitcher, add all the ingredients. Seal the jar or pitcher tightly and allow to infuse for 2 days on the counter, out of direct sunlight.

After two days, use a fine-mesh strainer to strain the infused vodka, discarding fruit and leaves.

Using a funnel, fill a jar, pitcher, or bottle with the infused vodka. Store the vodka at room temperature away from direct sunlight or in the refrigerator.

Just Salt It, and enjoy!
