This dessert is the perfect way to use fresh ripe peaches. It is light and delicious, plus the leftover wine juice makes for a fabulous Peach Spritz.  
 
1 bottle Chardonnay
2 Tbsp sugar
1 cinnamon stick 
6 peaches, cut in half and pit removed
 
Pour the wine into a bowl and add the sugar, cinnamon stick, and peaches. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit in the refrigerator overnight. 
 
Serve the peaches cold or at room temperature by placing them in a small bowl or plate and drizzling the halves with the juice. If you prefer to make it a little more decadent, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the peach.
