Herb butter is an excellent addition to many foods. We like adding it to roasted chicken, grilled steak, bread, pasta, corn on the cob, eggs, and various grilled or steamed vegetables. 
 
Our favorite herbs we enjoy using are Italian parsley, chives, marjoram, garlic, lemon balm, lavender, and thyme. But, you can use any herbs of your choice or a combination of a few.  
 
Yield ⅓ cup
 
⅓ cup of grass-fed butter, softened 
3 tsp fresh herbs chopped 
 
Mash the butter in a small bowl with the back of a spoon. Add the herbs and gently stir together until combined. Form the butter into a log shape by rolling it back and forth in plastic wrap. Wrap the log up in the plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator until chilled and hardened. 
 
Serve with foods of your choice.
