Shishito peppers make for a fantastic snack. They char up quickly and taste great with just a little sea salt. Most of the peppers are mild. However, some are quite hot. You never really know which one is which, so that is the fun of this little treat. 
 
½ lb. shishito peppers
2 Tbsp Olive oil
Sea salt
 
Heat a cast-iron pan with the olive oil to high heat. Place the peppers in the pan in a single layer. Turn the peppers so that they are charred on at least two sides. Once charred, sprinkle with sea salt and transfer the peppers to a dish or bowl and serve immediately.
