Chocolate hummus, who would have thought it would be so good? It is fantastic and takes a few quick minutes to prepare. It is a simple dessert that satisfies those who love chocolate.  
 
I recommend serving the hummus with pretzels, strawberries, sliced banana, graham crackers, marshmallows, halved walnuts, or bite-size pieces of granola bars. 
 
1-15 oz. can of black beans, rinsed and drained
3½ Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup coconut sugar
⅓ cup almond butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp salt
Cacao nibs for garnish
 
Place all of the ingredients, besides the cacao nibs, into a food processor and blend until it is completely smooth. Stop the processor and scrape the sides of the bowl a few times while blending to be sure it is completely incorporated. 
 
Serve right away or store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
