I adore a great Margarita, but I'm not too fond of all the sugary pre-made mixers that are often added to it. I like making mine super clean and refreshing. 

 

Yield 1 Margarita

 

1½ oz. Siete Leguas Silver Tequila, or any high-quality tequila you prefer

½ oz. Cointreau

½ a lime, juiced 

1 lime wedge

Ice

 

In a glass, add the first three ingredients and stir. Add ice and a lime wedge and drink up.
